Important, Please Read
- Registration for First Reconciliation, to be held in October, is closed.
- Registration for the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist to be held in the spring needs to be received by January 1st, 2024.

TWO-YEAR FAITH FORMATION REQUIREMENT

Any student who wishes to receive sacraments here at Immaculate Conception Church is expected to be enrolled in an age-appropriate Faith Formation Program for at least two years prior to receipt of the Sacrament(s). Please, make sure to register your child for Faith Formation or call the Parish Office at 603-888-0608 for more information.

BAPTISM INFORMATION
You will need the child's Baptism date and location in order to complete this registration form; in addition:
- If your child was baptized at Immaculate Conception:
  - Provide an accurate date of Baptism.
- If your child was baptized in a church other than Immaculate Conception:
  - Please submit a copy of their Baptismal Certificate to the Parish Office.
- If your child was not baptized in a Catholic Church:
  - Please contact the Faith Formation Office or call 603-888-0608.
HOW TO DETERMINE THE SACRAMENT(S) FOR WHICH TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD

- First Reconciliation (Grade 2 and up) - Closed
- If your child is baptized and in Grade 2 and will be enrolled in his/her second year of Faith Formation, he/she is eligible to receive First Reconciliation this school year. This will be the only Sacrament the students will receive during Grade 2. Materials are provided to families to assist them in a family-based experience of preparing for this Sacrament. In addition, the children will participate in a mini-retreat prior to receiving the sacrament.
- Confirmation/First Eucharist Preparation (Grade 3 and up)
- If your child is baptized, has received First Reconciliation, is in Grade 3, and has been enrolled in (at least) his/her 2nd year of Faith Formation, he/she is eligible to receive Confirmation/First Eucharist this school year.
Why is Confirmation received in Grade 3?
In September 2020, we held our First Restored Order Confirmation/First Eucharist Celebration. What does that mean? It means that we are now under a new initiative called “Restore • Renew • Proclaim the Hope that is Christ” from Bishop Libasci in Manchester. Although it has been a transition from what we as a Parish and as Catholics are used to, we have embraced it, and as the Bishop states in his letter "A Call to Hope, A Call to Act A Pastoral Letter from Bishop Peter A. Libasci to the people of the Diocese of Manchester January 16, 2019," there are many blessings being realized through this implementation.
Therefore, from now on, children in Grade 2 will be prepared for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation only, and in Grade 3, the children will be prepared for both the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist, which will both be received at the same Mass, usually in May of their Grade 3 school year.

- Confirmation Only (if your child has already received First Eucharist)

If your child has already received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, and First Eucharist, but not Confirmation, and is in Grade 8 or below, and has been enrolled in Faith Formation for at least two years (or in his/her second year), he/she is eligible to prepare to receive Confirmation in the Spring of 2024.

High School Students and Young Adults seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation should contact the Parish Office.
Fees and Dates
- Cost:
  - First Reconciliation - $50/Student
  - Confirmation/First Eucharist - $100/Student
  - Confirmation Only- $50/Student
- The Sacrament of First Reconciliation will be held in October 2023.
The Registration deadline for all students who want to receive First Reconciliation is Thursday, September 21, 2023. Students not registered by the 21st will have to receive this Sacrament next year and delay receiving Confirmation and First Eucharist.
- The Sacrament of Confirmation and First Eucharist will be held in May 2024.
The Registration deadline for all students who want to receive these Sacraments is Sunday, January 1, 2024.
