It is with a heavy but full heart that I am stepping down as the leader of the H3O Women’s Ministry which has been near and dear to my heart the past 10+ years. I feel that God is calling me in a different direction in this new phase of my life and I need to take the time to quiet my mind and step back to listen to Him.
Moving forward, H3O will hold 3 more events this spring, one on April 1st and the last monthly event of the year will be June 3rd Ladies Comedy Night. There is also a Women’s Lenten Retreat on Saturday March 28th. I will work with the core team to help plan and facilitate these last two events this spring. We currently do not have anyone who is able to step up and take over the lead role in the ministry.
I am writing to you all not only to let you know my status with H3O but also to send out a plea for help. If you would like to see this ministry continue to serve the woman of our parish and community as it has over these last 10+ years please let us know if you would be interested in becoming more involved in the planning process. We usually can gather up enough volunteers the day of the event but it is within the planning core team that we need assistance and more importantly someone who can take on a leadership role if this ministry is going to continue to thrive. If you are someone who feels called to lead and plan in a greater capacity, we would honor this and work with you to see if it’s a good fit for H3O moving forward.
Although I hate to see the ministry dissolve, I know that there is also a season for everything. Maybe the season of H3O has come to an end. Maybe there is still potential for it to continue on a modified schedule. We are investigating and open to all these avenues but would like to also hear from you.
Make Note: The Seasons Café will continue to meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month, this is a sub group of H3O where women going through the seasons of life come together on a more intimate level to share with each other. To clear up some confusion circulating out there, Season’s Café is separate and is led by Donna Kraus in room 4 of the ICC Hall. This is different from the large events that occur the first Wed of the month.
We have done some pretty amazing things at ICC and in the Greater Nashua Community, giving women a place to grow in their faith and friendships and to always feel at home. Our planning meetings have truly been guided by the Holy Spirit and we have no doubt that the spirit will again help lead H3O down the path that it is meant to go.
I want to thank you all for the support you have given to H3O over the 10+ years. Feel free to email ICCH3O@yahoo.com if you want to share your thoughts about the ministry with us.
Thank you,
Sharon, H3O CoreTeam Leader

H3O is a women’s ministry that welcomes women of all ages and faith backgrounds. We are a group of women who seek to enrich our lives through new and old friendships, the love of Christ and the sacredness of trust.
The H3O core values of connections, community, challenge and Christ seek to inspire each woman and appeal to her desire to grow spiritually, socially and/or through community outreach and volunteerism.
We connect through monthly themed events the first Wednesday evening of each month October-June 7-9pm. We also offer two retreats per year for those who would like to dive deeper into their faith. Proceeds from all events go towards a community outreach need. At times we also offer outreach projects throughout the year. H3O welcomes you to attend as many events as you wish. Come as a stranger and leave as our friend! Everyone is welcome!
H3O does not meet during the summer months. You may email us for more information by using the Contact Form.
Note: The viewpoints of some of our presenters/speakers may not necessarily represent the views of the Catholic Church or of Immaculate Conception Parish. We welcome all women of all faiths.

2nd Wednesday, 7:00pm-8:30pm, Room 4
Join us the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month (Oct-June), 7:00pm-8:30pm, in the Parish Center, Room 4, as we gather at the Seasons Cafe where we can all share in the seasons of our lives. Whether you are a widow, an empty nester, going through chronic illness, a single mom, or struggling in some way, we created this group to bring women together to share on a more intimate level. This is not a counseling session, this is simply a way for women to share and grow while creating new friendships with other women in an environment of sacred trust.
RSVP is required to attend each month as space is limited. Email ICCH3O@yahoo.com
