The message & devotion to Jesus as The Divine Mercy is based on the writings of St. Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun who wrote a diary recording the revelations she received about God's mercy. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

If you would like to become more involved in our parish community, consider volunteering for one of the follwing opportunities ...

ARTS & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE: We are currently in need of several individuals to serve on our Arts & Environment committee. As a member of this committee, you would assist with the set-up and take-down of the Church environment for all special events throughout the year. This includes the liturgical seasons of Advent/Christmas, Lent and Easter, as well as other special events like First Communion, Confirmation and All Souls. For more information or to volunteer please contact the Parish Office at 603-888-0321 or via email.

BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY:  We're looking for people who are willing to be part of a Bereavement Reception Ministry. The Bereavement Reception Ministry will be organizing receptions in the Gathering Hall following funerals at ICC, as a service to grieving families.  You don't necessarily have to be available at a moments notice to serve at a funeral -- Your role may be donating and preparing food from home and dropping it off at the gathering hall at ICC.  We are hoping to gather enough volunteers together that we will have roles covered and only need to call on people a few times a year.  If you are interested in more information please email the bereavement committe.

TEEN DANCE CHAPERONES:  We are in need of adult volunteers to help chaperone our Teen Dances.  The January dance was cancelled because we did not have enough chaperones.  If we are unable to secure adequate chaperones for future dances we will no longer be able to host this popular event. If you are interested in becoming a chaperone, please contact the parish office at 603-888-0321 or via email.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION COUPLES:  Immaculate Conception Parish is looking for committed couples, who have been married for at least 3 years, to assist in the marriage preparation process. This volunteer opportunity would involve meeting with engaged couples to review their individual FOCCUS results.  FOCCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication and Study) is an internationally used tool designed to provide engaged couples and those working with them, a personalized profile of what to “focus” on in their marriage preparation process. It is both a starting place for couple discussion and a map of what issues need time and attention, or problem solving.  All couples involved in this ministry are required to attend a one time training session. The next session has been scheduled for Sat., 4/17 (in Manchester).  If you would like to explore this opportunity or would just like more information, please contact the Parish Office at 603-888-0321 or via email.
